While it is true that through travel we improved our level of English, we remain Spanish and Italian: our level is what it is! Vaaaale, I know I should not generalize and there are looong, good enough, mmm a Spanish / English speaking Italian heavenly but things are like this: most Spanish / Italians danmark valuta speak English danmark valuta very very bad! So when we got our working holiday visas to live in New Zealand danmark valuta think one thing: danmark valuta "this time it's good," we will learn real English! . "And with this idea we began our adventure to study English in Auckland at Worldwide danmark valuta School of Inglés We were only here two weeks but we took a lot of learning, many memories and best of all. Many new friends !. In this post we are going counting the 10 things we liked about our "back to school". 1) PERSONAL Everyone, everyone, everyone from our tutor Antonella, to Cleve and Maureen, the managers of the school, to the girls in the cafeteria, reception, teachers and librarians have always been very friendly, cheerful, close, majos available and with a great sense of humor. And this is appreciated!
2) COMPANIONS We were very lucky because all we had were fellow sea of Majete us! Each were in different classes, in Rober were people from Thailand, danmark valuta Brazil, Colombia, Korea, Japan, danmark valuta New Caledonia, Saudi Arabia ... and in Lety was to Brazil, Colombia, Japan, Thailand, Germany and other Italian!
We met many other colleagues with whom we practiced English, talked of our countries and exchanged a few laughs (in English eh! Always in English!) In obretodo s Pub-night! Pub-what? Continue down now we will explain danmark valuta ...
3) ACTIVITIES Every day after class there is a different activity: - On Mondays football game. - On Tuesdays touch rugby match (the soft version). danmark valuta - Wednesday is Day pub: yuppi !!!! It's the perfect danmark valuta day because you would spend big and having danmark valuta to speak English (unless you do not join with Spanish speaking clearly or do not know English and speak thai-japanese-Portuguese-Arabic etc!) Keep learning without even realize. W e did not miss us one pub-night:-P We went to CarPark where there for students beer for $ 4 and pizza for $ 5 and Bungalow 8 where we drank a Heineken for $ 3 and took advantage danmark valuta of a buffet of free food, not great? - Thursday is movie day (with free popcorn!). - On Fridays you can choose among several activities that change every week (can be a cooking class, visit a museum or nearby village, learn English with songs or learn to look for work). All activities danmark valuta are voluntary although danmark valuta we believe are a good way to integrate with the group and keep practicing English ... we are not here for this?
4) HOURS AND LOCATION schedules are fine, especially because classes start at 09.00 so it goes waaaaay up early. In the morning you study from 9 to 12:15 am and in the evenings from 13.30 to 15.15. Also between classes no breaks of 15 and 20 minutes!
The school is also very central, it is located in Anzac Ave 80 to about 10 min walk from Queen Street, the main street of the city. But for us the location was absolutely perfect as our hostel was only 5 minutes in the morning ... so we could hurry up the clock! 5) TEACHING danmark valuta METHOD We enjoyed since classes are anything but boring. On most mornings studying grammar and evenings are more focused on conversation throughout the day but is studied through readings, videos, lectures, audios and games games ... yes you heard right: for example a few days ago were playing to "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" danmark valuta devising each student a few questions, the answers and good arguing, Lety was paired with a Brazilian guy and Yuri "won" a $ 25,000 ... Jaqueline fared better as they won the 1000 Framework $ 000!
The school is also one of the best in New Zealand, has category A, the teachers are great !! 6) JOB CLUB If you came here with WHV or student visa and want to work ... is super interesting! danmark valuta In these cl
